The Musgrove Ear Nose & Throat, LLC Ambulatory Surgery Center was opened in 1997 by local ear, nose and throat surgeons interested in providing out-patient surgical care in Silver Spring, Maryland. The Center has been designed and is operated by the surgeons and a small team of professionals to provide safe, convenient surgical care in a relaxed and comfortable setting.
Thanks to medical advances, many surgical procedures are safely performed in the ambulatory care setting, allowing the patient to return home the same day. Ambulatory or “same day,” surgery is beneficial because of the quality of care, economy of services, and high degree of patient satisfaction. Ambulatory surgery centers are among the most highly regulated providers of ambulatory medical care. Musgrove ENT ASC is Medicare-certified, and is accredited by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations. To become accredited, Musgrove ENT ASC has been favorably evaluated against a set of national standards by a Joint Commission surveyor experienced in the delivery of ambulatory surgical services. Accreditation demonstrates our commitment to provide high quality surgical care.
Our focus on ambulatory surgical procedures allows us to tailor our quality services, care and teaching more precisely to our patients. The facility specializes in ear, nose and throat procedures, sinus surgery, head and neck surgery, minor general surgery, laser facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Musgrove ENT ASC is staffed by highly qualified professionals who maintain education and expertise in surgical services, emergency preparedness (such as advanced cardiac and pediatric life support), and otorhinolaryngology.
To meet the needs of surgeons and clients we are equipped for IV sedation, local and general anesthesia. Musgrove ENT ASC Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists are credentialed medical staff members who provide high quality pediatric and adult anesthesia care at this facility.
